Disclosure: Bookwisp publishes this page, and Bookwisp is one of the apps below — listed last. We included every app that has an iPhone or Android app, and imports a Goodreads library; facts come from each app’s own store listing or pricing page, not from testing claims.

How to choose
You want the social side of Goodreads
The StoryGraph, Hardcover and Fable all have profiles, friends and community features, and all three run on the web as well as phones. StoryGraph is known for mood and pace breakdowns; Hardcover has a free core and a public API; Fable centres on book clubs.
You want a private log of what you read
Bookwisp is built as a journal rather than a network: your library stays on your phone, a timer runs on your Lock Screen while you read, quotes keep their page and chapter, and books in a series line up with the next one you’re missing. Import from Goodreads or StoryGraph, export to CSV, tracking and notes are free.
You mainly want reading-time stats
Bookly and Bookwisp both time your sessions; Bookly’s free Android version shows ads.
Moving your library
Whichever you pick, the first step is the same: export your Goodreads library as a CSV. Before you import, you can see your stats from that file — useful as a record of your Goodreads years.
